Description

The Midland Carriers Model PL 6000 poly pipe retrieving trailer is the larger and most popular of our two retrieving trailer options. It is designed and manufactured to retrieve and transport more than 6,000' of 3" DR11 or 3,500' of 4" DR11 polyethylene pipe.

The PL 6000 is ideal for anyone handling 3" DR11 or 4" DR11 poly pipe.

ENAMEL COATING
Sherwin-Williams Sher-Kem ® Fast Dry Metal Finishing Enamel is used with a primer for a durable lasting finish.
RUNNING GEAR
Standard running gear includes custom built and American made 6k# tandem axles, custom built heavy duty leaf springs, and 235/85 R16 LRE 10 ply tires with eight bolt steel wheels.
STANDARD DRIVE
Self contained hydraulic drive system powered by a Honda gasoline engine with electric start.
CAPACITY
More than 6,000' of 3" DR11 or 3,500' of 4" DR11 polyethylene pipe.
 
JACK AND COUPLER
Bulldog 2-5/16 a-frame coupler and Bulldog flip jack.
LIGHTING
Standard DOT tape and sealed lights.
ADJUSTABLE COUPLER
Five position adjustable coupler channel allows for variations in tow vehicle height when an adjustable hitch is not available.
DROP LEG JACK
10k# Bulldog drop leg jack. Heavy duty jack allows for more efficient raising and lowering of trailer tongue than standard flip jack.
GOOSENECK
Gooseneck pull-type option. Heavy 12" I-beam construction with 2-5/16" adjustable gooseneck coupler and drop leg jack.
SPARE TIRE
Spare tire and mount. The tire is mounted on the front bumper of the trailer on bumper pull models and in the top of the gooseneck if the gooseneck option is also purchased.
HEADACHE BAR
Overhead guard constructed of square tubing. Protects the operator from loose or out of control poly pipe coming over the top of the reel.
DUAL DRIVE
Dual drive power option consists of dual hydraulic drives. The two motors run together giving the reel more pulling power (highly recommended for 4" DR11 operations). This also gives the hydraulic components in the system a longer life by dividing the wear and tear between the two motors.
